Regulated health and care professionals, excluding doctors and dentists, are those currently registered with one of the national regulatory bodies, including:
These bursaries are part of a wider healthcare professionals funding programme which aims to develop careers in specific professions. This means the bursaries are not available for some professions including doctors, dentists and clinical research practitioners.

This restriction applies only to bursaries and not course applications. All professions are eligible to apply for a place on one of the courses.
