Jo joined the University of the West of England, Bristol in 2010 and is a Senior Lecturer in Mental Health Nursing. Previously she worked in military and civilian health care settings and as a clinical nurse specialist supporting people living with co-existing mental health and substance use issues. She has extensive undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, learning, mentoring and research supervision experience. Jo has experience in qualitative research and her interests broadly include mental health and wellbeing, workforce development and social justice.
