Training and capacity building

Training and capacity building at ARC West promotes the development of skills in understanding, using and producing evidence for the health and social care, public health and commissioning workforce, as well as the voluntary sector.

We do this through a programme of mostly one-day, interactive and practical courses, which are free for staff in our partner organisations. We also support research careers for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals through an annual internship scheme.
