Research conversations: Talking to secondary school children sensitively about weight
4 February 2025 5-6pm
About the event
During this research conversation, Dr Lis Grey, will be talking about developing booklets to help parents have sensitive discussions about weight with their children.
Parents find it difficult to talk with their children about weight. The team behind this project has developed a booklet to help parents of primary school-aged children understand how they can talk about weight sensitively.
But young children and teenagers are quite different!
The team is now developing a booklet for parents of secondary school-aged children on this topic.
