Research conversations: Mental health of parents during pregnancy and the early years
20 June 2025 11am-12pm
About the event
During this research conversation, Hannah Family will talk about her research into the mental health of parents during pregnancy and the first years after their child is born. She will also talk about the re-launch of the perinatal and infant mental health integration team.
She is keen to hear what people would like to know about perinatal mental health and what help or resources they wish they had had during pregnancy to support their mental health at this time.
Our speaker
Dr Hannah Family is a psychologist and qualitative researcher who works at Bristol Medical School. She researches mental health and health care services, and how we can better support people’s mental health.
