Lis is a behavioural scientist with a background in health psychology. She conducts mixed methods research on a range of topics in public health, primary and secondary care working with a range of stakeholders in the public, private and third sectors. She is experienced in developing behaviour change interventions, designing and conducting evaluations of health interventions, and conducting systematic evidence reviews.
Currently she is working on a programme of research to widen access to dementia services and evaluate a new model of Parkinson’s and dementia care. Her other research interests include promotion of physical activity and nutritious diets, health communication, reducing stigma and improving mental wellbeing, and reducing health inequities.
