I joined ARC West as a Senior Research Associate in Qualitative Research in September 2022. Prior to this, I was a Postdoc at the University of Vienna.

I received my PhD degree in Sociology from the University of Essex in 2021 and completed my Master’s degree in Migration Management at the University of Pompeu Fabra (UPF), Barcelona, and my Bachelor’s degree in History at the Middle East Technical University (METU), Ankara.

I have also held visiting positions at the University of Konstanz, Germany, Yasar University in Izmir and Cukurova University in Adana, Turkey.
