Jane has recently completed a PhD at the University of Bedfordshire investigating the role of physical activity places in the lives of young people who have experienced parental bereavement. Prior to this Jane completed an MSc in Psychology of sport at the University of Stirling and BSc at the University of Abertay Dundee, in sport and exercise psychology.
Jane is currently a Senior Research Associate on a sub study of the CoMMins project. She is working within the School Life during COVID-19 study, investigating the well-being and mental health of school pupils. This study, will complete interviews with school staff and pupils to provide in-depth information about how the mitigations procedures in schools have impacted the well-being and mental health of pupils.
