Katrina is a senior qualitative methodologist in the School of Social and Community Medicine.
Katrina has extensive knowledge and experience of using in-depth interviews, focus groups and observations. She has particular expertise in designing and overseeing qualitative studies nested within randomised controlled trials. The purpose of these integrated studies is to improve the design and conduct of trials, and the interpretation of trial results.
Most of Katrina’s work has been in the area of primary care mental health.
