ARC West and UWE launch 2022 research internships for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals

NIHR ARC West and the University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) have again joined forces to offer research internships for nurses, midwives and allied health professionals (NMAHP). The 2022 programme is now open for applications.
This internship offers new or recent NMAHP graduates the opportunity to be involved in health research in a clinical or applied setting. You should consider applying for this programme if you:
Would like to broaden your experience of healthcare research
Are interested in clinical research as part of your future career
Would like to work with teams of experienced health researchers
As a research intern on the programme, you will:
Be employed by the University of the West of England
Have a fixed term contract for 30 hours per week for 8 weeks at £18,036 pro-rata
Get to work with established research teams and make an identifiable contribution to a project
Gain insight into health research in clinical and applied settings and help to plan a clinical academic career
Have a line manager to support you and a project lead to provide you with guidance
