This interactive, live online session aims to share some tips and tools for planning a small scale, simple evaluation of local services.
The session will cover:
Using a logic model
Setting aims and objectives
Thinking about data sources and data collection methods
Planning next steps
You should come prepared with an evaluation in mind and be prepared to discuss this. There will be a 30 minute break from the live session part way through, for participants to apply the learning and start to plan their own evaluations. The session will also include smaller group discussions in break out rooms. Given the activities involved and the chance to ask individual questions and get feedback, places are limited to 15.
Who is it for?
It is aimed at staff in our partner organisations who are new to the concept of evaluation or have only a basic knowledge, and are looking for some help with getting started with a simple evaluation.
Please note: this is based on our popular one day ‘Introduction to service evaluation’ course so if you have previously attended that course, this session will not cover new content.
