Zoe leads ARC West’s communications and marketing. This includes developing communications strategies and key messages, while adhering to NIHR’s brand guidelines. She manages the full communications mix, from social media and websites to print and events.

Helping researchers disseminate their findings to the right people is an important part of her job, as well as training people in how to communicate effectively. She also works on research implementation projects that have a communications element.

Zoe is also Head of Communications for the NIHR Bristol Biomedical Research Centre (BRC).
